Many people are stuck when choosing between two popular types of Barbeque Grills : the propane barbeque grill and the charcoal barbeque grill. If you are one of those, then let us discuss the pros and cons of each type. There are several important aspects when choosing a grill. This includes the time, the price, the usability and the taste of the end product, which is the barbeque. Let us first take time into consideration. If you are living a fast paced lifestyle and it is important for you to have your meals grilled quickly, then the Propane Barbeque Grills would be the better option for you. You can easily ignite or light the fire of a propane barbeque grill with a simple turn of the switch or use of the igniter. With a charcoal grill, it would definitely take some time before you are able to fully create a fire needed to cook your food. Next thing we should note is the price. Initially, charcoal grills are less expensive than propane grills when purchased. However, if you consider the long run, you would eventually find out that propane grills are really less expensive since it takes several months before the contents of your propane tank runs out, while charcoal is actually increasing its price, and you would have to frequently buy them. We should also take into consideration the usability of your grill. Are you planning on using it to serve barbeque to just a few people or to many? If you are planning on giving a barbeque party (or feast), then it would be best to get a charcoal grill because it can cook more barbeque at a time. But if you only intend to feed yourself and your family, you can get the propane barbeque grill. Lastly, if you aim for a more smoky taste for your barbeque, nothing beats the meat that has been cooked in charcoal. Even professionals recommend charcoal barbeque grills for a more savory taste of grilled dishes. Weighing the pros and cons, you may be able to choose the right grill for you. But if you have the money, why not buy both to get the maximum benefits? To find out more information about barbeque grills log onto: iBuyBarbeques. com.

Product Description

The five tools in this set from Mr. Bar-B-Q’s Premium collection are constructed of glossy, 1.8-millimeter-thick stainless steel with solid wood handles for superior durability. Finger and thumb indentations have been carved into the squared handles for easy gripping. The set includes a 3-in-1 spatula, fork, knife, tongs, and a basting brush--essential tools for great barbecuing.

Extra-long for a good reach across even the largest grill, the tools range in length from 17-1/2 inches (tongs) to 21 inches (spatula and knife). Most versatile is the 3-in-1 spatula, which not only lifts and drains meats, but also cuts with a sharp serrated edge on one side, and tenderizes with prongs on the other. The toothed tongs taper to a point that grabs even the smallest piece of food. However, it takes a strong grip to hold these heavy-duty tongs together. Sharp four-inch tines on the fork spear everything from a whole chicken to thin hot dogs. The seven-inch-bladed knife slices through thick steaks with ease. The brush features a 1-1/2-inch wide basting surface. All tools can be hung and although dishwasher-safe, are best washed by hand. --Ann Bieri

The Weber One-Touch Silver kettle grill is perfect for anyone who wants a well-designed, no-nonsense grill that cooks up food deliciously. Perfect for backyard barbecues or just whipping up an evening meal, this impressive grill has a cooking surface (18-1/2 inches in diameter) big enough to accommodate six large steaks, twice as many burgers, or up to a dozen kebabs. And the One-Touch Silver's classic kettle shape radiates heat evenly and keeps charcoal flare-ups to a minimum.

The barbecue pioneers at Weber--they've been making grills since 1951--know how to design a grill that lasts. The One-Touch Silver's porcelain-coated steel bowl and lid are exceptionally strong and designed never to rust, fade, or peel. The grill's hardware is of the highest quality. The aluminum vents and ash catcher won't rust, and the grill's tripod base, nylon handles, and all-weather wheels combine to make this Weber both exceptionally sturdy and easy to maneuver. Weber's patented One-Touch cleaning system--a clever setup of lever-activated blades--sifts ash out of the kettle and into the grill's removable catch pan. You never have to get your hands dirty--and emptying the kettle takes only a few seconds.

For those in search (or need) of culinary guidance, Weber includes a 31-page owner's guide filled with cooking tips and time-tested recipes for grilling everything from pork chops to bratwurst to Cornish hens.

I Love My Weber One-Touch Grill!

Review Date: September 4, 2000
Reviewer: ,
I started with the Weber Smokey Joe compact charcoal grill and liked it so much I bought the larger Weber One-Touch (with the 18.5" wide grilling space). It's easy to assemble, has a thoughtful and simple ash-removal lever, is durable and provides great tasting food every time! Our grill easily accomodates ample food for 4 people... if you regularly cook for more than 4 (or have really large appetites) then choose from the wide variety of larger sizes. When you buy a Weber grill you'll get a handy booklet with great recipes. Plus, if you visit Weber's excellent Web site (www.weber.com) you'll find additional recipes that are out of this world (the Grilled Pork Tenderloin wrapped in pancetta is mouth-watering delicious!). If you aren't resticted by condo regulations to gas-grills, then definitely go for the charcoal grill in order to get the superior flavors available only when you cook on charcoal. I liked Weber's simple directions on how to use the grill so that you'll maximize flavors, minimize charcoal use and make the most of this incredible grill. Weber grills RULE!
Love It!

My husband and I love our Weber. We have had numerous expensive grills and this one cooks better than all of them.
What can you say - Its a Classic

The Weber grill has always been the Cadilac of BBQ grilling. It is a quality good - it won't rust and will last a decade even when left outdoors. Its other claim to fame is the ability it offers to "shut off the charcoal" as it is air tight. The "one touch" system just makes it even easier. Instead of having to close three bottom vents seperately (and fumbling with hot surfaces that cannot be easily seen), you just flip one lever. You make up your mind yourself about the silver vs. gold models as both are good. What size do you need? What do you want to cook? A turkey? - better get the 22 1/2 inch size. If you have a chicken or a roast in mind, the 18 1/2 inch will do and it will save you some fuel to boot.

Reliable equipment and fire are adequate basic needs for grilling success. The suggestions in the article below are suitable for gas or charcoal grills and include directions for both. Sparks of fire, if you have a gas grill or electric grill, follow the instructions in your manual for lighting and preheat it. In building a charcoal fire, start with enough coals on the grill under cover an area of about 3 inches larger on all sides to the size of the food you plan to cook. Add a couple of tiles more if the weather is wet and windy. Tiles Mound, or put in a chimney starter and turning them, leaving the grill lid. After lighting the charcoal, leaving them in a battery or the starter until they are red (about 20 minutes), then separate them on the grid in a single layer. Let the coals burn for 5 to 10 minutes or until they are covered with gray ash before placing the food on the grill. 1. Charcoal briquettes light: Arrange tiles in a mound in the center of the rack below. The close collaboration helps to put all the light for instant-lighting briquettes, which ash in about 20 minutes, are saturated with oil that lights easily with a match. Besides electric start and light liquid fluids, fire starter gel and paraffin fire starters are all so safe for the environment to make the work to start a charcoal fire easier. Wait about 1 minute after the addition of an entry of liquid, gel or wax before lighting the briquettes. Never use gasoline or kerosene as a starter fire. Direct and indirect GrillingBefore arrange the coals, if you're going to grill, directly or indirectly. Each grid can be used for cooking, including braziers (basic combustion chamber surface on the legs) and barbecue. For indirect grilling, you need a grill with a lid. These networks can be either a kettle or in a wagon and gas, electric or coal heat. With grilling, the food is grilled on an open fire. Direct grilling is best suited to foods that are soft, small and thin and can be cooked in less than 30 minutes, which includes steaks, burgers, kebabs, sausages, boneless chicken, fish and vegetables more. For coal, use long handled tongs so spread the coals evenly in one layer. To set up a grill, gas grill, preheat, then adjust the parameters of the flow of gas to fire you want. 2. Charcoal grills Direct: Rake the coals evenly directly to the section of the grid where the food goes. Indirect grilling is to bring food into an area on the grid without any direct source of heat and the grill is covered during cooking. Choice grilled indirect cooking chicken, ribs, roasts and whole fish. To set up a charcoal to cook indirectly, using long-handled tongs to arrange the coals around a drip pan that collects the drippings fat foods with minimal flare. Use a disposable aluminum foil pan or make a tin foil from robust. 3. Indirect grilling with charcoal: Move coals to host a pan; rearrange the coals, if necessary. For indirect grilling on a gas grill, light the grill according to the manual. Turn to high-definition and to preheat for 10 to 15 minutes. If your grill has two burners, turn down the flame on a burner to desired temperature and turn the other stages of the burner. With a three burner gas grill, turn the center burner off. Put the food on fire is not lit. The flow of gas to the burner is to maintain the desired temperature. Most gas grills are a top-pan in the hearth, if not usually fond necessary. We recommend placing the birds and roast all on a rack in a roasting pan and place the pan directly on the grill above the burner off. Control Flare-UpsFat and meat juices dripping on the coals may cause sudden fires of small size, called surges, that can make your taste of charred meat. To control the outbreaks, simply lift the grate, cover the grill, the more distant the embers, or remove a bit 'of coal. As a last resort, remove the food from the grill and the fire with water mist in a spray bottle. When the disappearance of the flame, finding food on the barbecue. To prevent attacks on a gas grill after use, turn the grill to high setting for 10 to 15 minutes with the lid closed. Use a brass bristle brush to remove any food cooked on the grill. It will also burn some residue on the lava rock or ceramic tiles. What is the ideal temperature for cooking? A key to successful grilling is to determine if the charcoal or gas grill has the ideal temperature for cooking. No matter what type of grill, you can judge the temperature in the same way. Hold your hand, palm down, in baking times and how long you can easily maintain it. A fire hot permits a 2-count of second-hand. Medium-fire heat is considered a 3-count of second-hand. Equivalent to a medium heat for a manual count of 4 seconds. And a small fire is considered a 5 seconds. When indirect grilling, charcoal coals to provide heat to medium-heat, over medium-hot to provide income. Cleaning the GrillSoak grill charcoal barbecue in hot soapy water after each use to loosen baked-on dirt. If the media is too big for the sink, let it rest for about 1 hour wrapped in damp paper towels or newspaper, then wipe clean. If necessary, use a stiff brush to remove stubborn burnt food. Setting HeatIf coals are too hot, raise the grill, spread coals, close the vents in the middle, or removing a few tiles. For a gas grill or electric burner set to a lower value. If the coals are too fresh springs, use long-handled to touch the ashes, the embers, coals put together, add tile, lower rack, or open holes. For a gas grill or an electric burner to adjust to a higher value. Not all courts the same temperature of coals. Therefore, the time intervals in our recipes are guidelines.

Hello, I just bought a small charcoal grill. I cook hamburgers. I wondered how I capture the rich smoky flavor. I put the burgers on the grill right after lighting the fire or should I wait?

I am a boy from the old school, I use a charcoal. Charcoal Grills makes us guys look manly. Gas grills are too easy to use. Even a girl can use a gas grill. Additionally, gas grills do not provide that great taste that coal is possible, then I would not recommend a man grily gas grill. First, make sure the grill is really hot hot hot. If not, then it will cook long and slow, this also makes the steak really difficult and less Tendor. Therefore, it is necessary to heat the grill to char the outside without hardening of the Interior. A grill a decent steak is actually quite simple. The key is to turn the steak once. Press a steak more than once, it is really difficult and less tender. So the key is to know when to reverse. This is absolutely essential, because you only have one chance to return the steak. When you flip the steak depends on how you like your steak as well done, medium rare, etc. … The amount of blood flowing to the top of the steak is a good indicator of when the reverse. The more blood you see, over the steak is cooked. For example, I prefer my steak to be rare. I like my blood a bit 'as it has much more flavor that way. When a small amount of blood flowing upward, the steak is ready to flip. Just a quick side note, a steak well done should be a crime. If you want your steak well done, just do not eat a steak. After the grilled steak, allow to set for five minutes before serving to allow juices to settle. This will also be the flavor of the block so that will not escape.

I wanted to know how each product temperature of coal briquette and wondered how long to keep my hand on fire first rule should be removed so that way I can try to control the temperature. I grilled steaks for next week, which is about 3 / 4 inch thick. How long should I cook the steaks on each side, and I cook indirect or direct heat?
