All grills come in many different sizes, metals and shapes and they have many different features these features depends on the manufacture. During the winter months all you can think about is cooking on the grill and eating a great big juicy steak and having fun with all your friends while everyone congregates around the barbeque grill. The gas grill is ideal for cooks with little or no experience with outdoor cooking.

A gas grill can be quite easy to maintain and the grill will make many occasions fun and festive. By cooking meats, fish and many other foods on the grill this leads many peoples spirits to be raised just because they are cooking on grill. Many times the entire party revolves around grill cooking, get a grill that is reliable and each time you use it you will not be sorry.

Many barbecue purists argue that charcoal gives the food a better taste than the gas grills. There have been many tests conducted during the life of the barbecue, which is better the charcoal

When choosing a grill the type of features and the styles are up to you style of taste, but when choosing the grill make sure it is the correct size and the right shape, because where you place the grill is very important because of the smoke that it lets off. When shopping for a grill you need to look at certain criteria like the right BTU and the correct size and style, you will need to make sure that the grill fits your needs, this can be challenging. There are many features that vary like the number of burners, the amount of space needed for cooking the size of the grill, the other thing to look for is the materials used to build the grill.

Nothing beats cotton!

Once again, cheapest is best! I've tried other types of mops in the past, silicon, etc., and there is nothing that beats an el-cheapo cotton mop! It 'sucks' up the goo and applys it where you want it to go, without the goody dripping off into the coals. And clean-up is a snap. I use a mixture of Dawn detergent,(as a degreaser) & Oxy-Clean to whiten the cotton. Once again, Raichlen is 'right on the money' with his advice.

When looking into different grills features, you may be faced with what seems like a foreign language. How are you suppose to pick the grill that is best for you if you do not understand what you are reading? While the language used when describing grills will not get any easier to read, understanding what the majority if what it means will help you make an informed decision. BTU is the measure of the amount of cooking power the barbeque grill as. Simple math will be needed in determining the amount of heat that your grill produces. Take the amount of space available for cooking (typically measured by square inch) and divide it by the total amount of BTU’s. Ideally you will want at least 95 to 100 BTU’s per square inch of cooking space. So for example, if you have a grill with 50,000 BTU’s and 450 square inches of cooking space, then you will be receiving about 111 BTU’s of cooking power per square inch. Anything less, and you may want to consider a different grill. The next thing you will want to consider is the cooking surfaces. How much space does it have? Will you be able to cook for just yourself, or you entire family? Depending on your situation, you may want to consider a larger or smaller grill. Grills come in a wide array of surface types. These different cooking surfaces can include a BBQ surface, a flat grill, and a ribbed grill. Some grills even offer these types of surfaces as none stick, which allow you to cook a whole array of foods that you would not be able to cook on a grill otherwise. Some gas grills even contain a Wok type surface for cooking pasta and rise dishes, or a full rotisserie set that allows you to cook rotisserie chicken. Weigh your options, and remember that some grills even come with the ability to interchange the surfaces. This way, if you decide that you want to start cooking Rotisserie chicken, all you will have to do is buy the accessory kit for it. Perhaps one of the most important things you should consider is the fuel type. Charcoal grills are one of the most used types of grills. Charcoal grills utilize charcoal and lighter fluid to heat up and cook your food. Charcoal grills come in all shapes and sizes, and vary in cost. Charcoal requires you to buy charcoal and lighter fluid each time you cook with it. It must also be cleaned out each time. Charcoal grills come in small sizes, which are ideal for apartment dwellers or people with small homes. Once you have used your charcoal grill, you can clean it, and store it away. Propane grills are also useful for someone in small areas, since they can come in smaller sizes. Propane grills use propane gas to cook your food. If you want to quickly cook foods while still maintaining a grilled flavor, you may want to consider Propane grills. Natural gas grills are a little more complicated then smaller grills, so they require more room. Natural gas grills are meant to hook up directly to your home’s natural gas line, and can cook meat in record time. Smoker Grills are used when flavor is the number one priority. Smoker grills use wood to slow cook your meat. Flavor can be controlled by using different types of woods. If you still do not understand the basic information provided about the grill, it may be a good idea to talk with a professional. There are stores designed specifically for barbeque grills and barbeque grill accessories. Other stores, such as your larger department stores may not have professionals trained specifically in barbeques, but chances are at least one employee in the store likes to barbeque, and can aid you, if on nothing else by personal opinion.

When you?re preparing your meal on a Barbeque Grill once the meat is on for cooking that?s indirect, then you may need to readjust all the vents. You can start with vents over the meat by opening them by a 1/3, and the damper below your meat should be completely shut off. The damper under fire should actually be opened by a 1/3 and the over-the-fire vent should be closed. Once this is achieved, then the smoke and heat can circulate akin to a convection oven. The only time the lid should be lifted on the grill is to add your favorite wood chips or charcoal for barbeque smoking. Normally, this effect can be achieved by adding wood chips during the last hour of cooking. Of course, this depends on what?s cooking. For instance, brisket takes more time than chicken or ribs. Construction that?s more durable holds heat a little longer, unbeatable control of cooking and the light weight. Whether you?re cooking indirectly or directly, you can barbecue anything on the Portable Kitchen Grill, barbeque grills or BBQ Grill like Fish grilled vegetables, steaks and burgers, chicken and naturally mouth-watering bar-b-que. A number of people are looking for the true southern barbeque taste from a barbeque grill. Thus, when purchasing a charcoal barbecue grill, among the most vital things to consider is to ensure you can control your own fire. Presently, on the market, a number of charcoal barbeque grills can?t suitably control the temperature or the fire. This makes it difficult to acquire the barbeque product desired. Charcoal barbecue smokers and grills can be easily mastered due to the easy control of the charcoal fire. One problem is damp charcoal or wet charcoal. Wet charcoal is difficult to start; thus, it?s important to ensure charcoal is dry to make grilling enjoyable. To find out more information about quality gas grills visit: www. ibuybarbeques. com.

This is a top of the line burger flipper!

Elegant and simple design with that awesome rubber handle that put OXO Good Grips on the "grip map". I bought this to complete my Good Grips BBQ set. The only thing it lacks that some BBQ'rs may miss is a bottle opener on the end of the handle. But that doesn't bother me seeing as I don't drink beer and it also gives the tool a cleaner design. If the dog doesn't get ahold of it, it will last a lifetime!
Excellent....

There are two chief reasons which make the Gas Grill Appealing. The first reason is that gas grills change the food taste cooked on the grill and the distinctive taste can make a gas grill attractive. The second reason is naturally that gas grills are enjoyable to use and it becomes leisure enjoyment to barbeque on the gas grill. Gas grills are basically easy to clean and operate, as well as safe. If you?re considering the purchase of a gas grill for the home, then you?d be remiss to overlook the chief benefits a gas grill has over a Charcoal Gas Grill. The process to “fire up” a gas grill involves very little “fire”. The process involves simple ignition by turning on propane gas and pushing a spark button for the fire ignition. With charcoal, it?s a much more laborious procedure involved as you have to fill the charcoal grill with the charcoal, soak the charcoal in lighter fluid, and then light a match into the barbeque grill. This can result in a vast burst of flame, which one needs to avoid until the fire subsides. Naturally, the gas grill is an option that?s safer. The gas grill is an option that?s less costly as the need to purchase charcoal is diminished and the necessity for lighter fluid is fully dispensed. True, propane can cost money, but it?s far more cost-effective than fees associated with the purchase of additional fluid and charcoal. Moreover, there is not the typical hassle of the need to clean out a gas grill after subsequent use as with the charcoal grill. That doesn?t mean you don?t ever have to clean out a gas grill, but the cleaning frequency is less than with a charcoal grill. Thus, for the beginner, the choice is quite obvious: the gas grill is easier, safer and less costly than the charcoal grill. Find out more information about iBuyBarbeques. com

So you’ve just moved into your new Chicago condo and have a great patio, balcony or terrace just waiting to be used. As long as your building permits it, the summer tradition of barbecuing may be high on your list of things to do this summer. A lot of Chicago real estate, including some of the lofts listed here http://www. bestchicagocondos. com/lofts/index. html already have rooftop building space designated for grilling. Other units may have gas hook-ups already in place and waiting for you to install a gas grill. But some traditionalists and hard core barbeque fans will say that charcoal is the way to go. With that in mind, along with the fact that many may be on a budget, shopping for a good and reasonably priced charcoal grill is a priority. You could easily spend a couple of hundred for a gourmet grill, but as long as the basic structural details are met and the materials used aren’t cheap, you can save your money for some great cuts of meat instead. For less than $100 you can buy a charcoal grill that you can use for more than one season on your condo balcony or back patio, provided to take care of it and don’t leave it uncovered in the weather. There are a few basic styles of charcoal grill. Kettle grills are probably the most common and they actually do resemble a large kettle. Round in shape with normally three or four legs, they are the great for grilling almost any typical meal. The four legged ones often have wheels on two of the legs so that you can easily roll them to another spot. They also often have a small fold down wooden side rack that is handy for sitting plates of food or utensils. There are also variations on the kettle grill often called portable grills. This style is smaller in size with a more round, flat shape, shorter legs and often no closeable lid or top. They are great for a quick burger or hot dog and are usually very inexpensive, although sometimes don’t last as long structurally. There are rectangular shaped charcoal grills that look a lot like typical gas grills. These grills are often made from heavier metals, sometimes cast iron, and have more grilling surface and greater control over cooking temperature, etc. With those basic styles in mind, here are a few specific charcoal grill examples with the average price that they are selling for in 2008. The Weber One Touch Silver kettle grill is a really nice grill for both beginning grill chefs and experienced BBQ masters. The actually grill measures 22. 5 inches and will hold about six steaks, a dozen hamburgers or two dozen hot dogs. As with all good kettle grills, the rounded shape reflects heat back inward fairly evenly for great cooking. This grill is made from steel and is porcelain covered to prevent rust and paint peeling. It has three legs with wheels, aluminum vents and ash tray plus nylon handles. The ashes sift into a tray that is easily pulled out and emptied. Prices on this grill run from about $65 to $100. Another great Webber grill is the Go Anywhere Charcoal Grill. This smaller charcoal grill is constructed from steel and coated with porcelain and has three nylon handles. The grate is made from heavy duty plated steel and the legs pivot and lock to make carrying easy. You can fit a lot of food on the 160 square inches of grilling surface. The Go Anywhere is priced at about $45. The Old Smokey Barbeque Grill comes in three sizes, but all are made with the same high standards. These grills have shorter legs so you can sit and grill if you get tired of standing and is deeper so that the charcoal fire isn’t as close to the meat. This allows meat to cook through without burning on the outside. The body of the Smokey grill is made from aluminized steel to help prevent rust. The Small Smokey is great for someone to take on trips or for someone who is only grilling for two or three people. It is very inexpensive at about $35. The Classic Smokey is a good size for cooking for four to six people. It measures about 27 inches tall with an 18 inch diameter. The Classic runs about $47 to $50. And for a big appetite or crowd on your patio, the Jumbo Old Smokey can handle it. The Jumbo will cost you around $70. There are dozens of other brands and models of charcoal grills, but these examples should give you an idea of what you need to get started on your grilling adventure. So slide open those balcony doors, step out onto the patio or porch and get all fired up.
